A Story I Remember*
Just missed the train
A New England commuter was all out-of-breath as he came running into the train station one morning - just at the train was pulling out. He had just missed it.
The station agent at the ticket window had watched the scene unfold.
"Hey, Buddy," he called out. "You need to learn to run faster."
"No," replied the commuter, "I need to learn to start sooner."
